@koshka

Greetings!

I think I’d rather ride the dragon, depending, of course, on the type of dragon.

Jellybeans aren’t a good item if you’ve eaten other food that day, but if you haven’t, they are food. I hope that makes sense?

@whalekeeper

It’s nice to meet you!

I have watched the movie and listened to 6 different cast recordings of Les…[Read more]

@whalekeeper oooh that’s a good idea, totally do that

@whalekeeper

I wouldn’t play with the move option. Idk what it does yet. lol

@whalekeeper

This is a beautiful introduction! Very useful, even for this veteran RPer.

@whalekeeper

Whoa! How did you become a moderator? What does a moderator even do?

@whalekeeper

Yes. That is a good idea. It’s crazy how much lore has developed. I think the Royal school is the most structured/would have the most choas on its hands, but the others have long histories. XD

@whalekeeper

Oh yeah! For sure!

@whalekeeper @koshka

Thanks for the advice! I have spent the past five years learning as much as possible about plot structure. I’ve tried (among other things) the snowflake method, the 3-act story structure, numerous authors’ plotting structures, and pantsing. Sarra Cannon has been a recent follow for me, but her methods all use color coding and…[Read more]

@whalekeeper

How would you describe House’s personality? 😛

House is normally pretty fun-loving and friendly. Right now it is depressed and angry (think stereotypical teenage angst type thing) which leads to it’s lashing out towards the other characters. One morning, for example, my characters woke up to find the kitchen totally flooded o…[Read more]

@whalekeeper

Lore! Yes… Ok…

*brain imediately blanks*

Aha! I have the RP aesthetic. I shall post it again so the newbies don’t have to chase it down in the thread history. (although I do recomend reading back. It’s entertaining stuff.)

@whalekeeper @loopylin

*Hides behind textbooks*

Oops, I missed this.

Ari

A small smile tugged one side of his mouth higher than the other. No magiked arrows this time–just a nearly perfect shot.

“Alcarna, Firefly. Well done.”

Froilán had taken a week to even hit the target. But then, the boy had barely been strong enough to draw the bow.

@ellette-giselle

What are some of your top fantasy books?

Lord of the Rings, Wingfeather Saga, Chronicles of Narnia, Riyria Revelations (anyone heard of those? they are basically LotR just different storyline and characters 🙂

If you could spend a week with one of your characters, who would it be and why?

Alright, after much debating (spending…[Read more]

@whalekeeper

Well… In truth…. Bilbo… might be my bestie 😶‍🌫️ She also hates avocados, seafood, olives, turkey, onions, and… hmmm. I think those are all the Bilbo banes I can think of. Any of them should work.

@bilbo-baggins

*charges* EAT BROCCOLI! 🥦 SCHNIFF IT. And then tell us your secrets please 🥺

@whalekeeper

She’s scared of broccoli. That might get secrets out 🥦

@whalekeeper

Huhuhu

Name one guinea pig Alfrid. And the one with the fun hair Gandalf. Or perhaps you could simply name both of them Charles.

@whalekeeper

Oh dear me. I AM working on a project… but it is a TOP SECRET project of SECRETNESS. Those are my secrets.

Congratulations for acquiring fifty spoons.

AAHH THOSE GUINEA PIGS ARE SO CUTE

@whalekeeper

I know!!!! It’s crazy!

@ellette-giselle @whalekeeper

Thank you!

It’s a beginner’s chapter book, so not very complicated. I would give it to 6-8-year-olds who love dogs.
